The bike workshop at Coventry Peace House is run by a small team of volunteers who repair donated bikes for re-sale in the community. The aim of the workshop is to recycle one of our most precious resources - the bicycle - and also to promote cycling in Coventry and further afield by making god quality bikes available as cheaply as possible to the public.
We receive our bikes from various recycling projects as well as individuals and the profits from the sale of the repaired bikes go to the community projects run by the Peace House. Each bike is double-checked by two mechanics before it is ready for sale.
Our opening hours are:
Tuesdays:
10am- 4.30pm
5.30pm- 7.30pm
every other Saturday (13th Feb, 27th Feb, 13th March, 27th March... 2010)
10am- 12 noon
We are hoping to expand our opening times so keep tuned.
